Espresso communication is seeking a WordPress integrator to work on various projects for our diverse clientele. In addition to being responsible for website integration, you will handle the more technical aspects of our mandates, such as deployment on our servers and maintenance of certain sites, while providing technical support to our clients.
You will join a close-knit team of talented professionals who combine their talents to bring the client’s vision to life. You will also have the opportunity to be a key player on our team while collaborating closely with our art director and UX specialist, designers, and project managers.

As a WordPress integrator, you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:

Overseeing the integration and programming of the agency’s web projects (WordPress websites, interactive ads, newsletters, etc.).

Repairing, maintaining, and updating client websites.

Participating in the development of new projects by contributing ideas and making recommendations.

Proactively identifying a project’s potential integration issues and proposing solutions.

Working independently and in close collaboration with the team.

Deploying websites on our servers and collaborating with our clients’ technical teams.
Requirements:

At least three years of relevant experience in a similar position.

In-depth knowledge of the WordPress platform and its features.

Ability to develop mock-ups for all major web browsers and assist the UI specialist in developing mock-ups.

Ability to interpret wireframes and devise creative technological solutions.

Excellent knowledge of HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript (AJAX), PHP, Sass, Less, jQuery, and the Adobe suite. Comfortable editing HTML directly in AngularJS templates.

Ability to manage domain names and DNSs.

Thorough understanding of GitHub, SendGrid, and Cloudflare.

Knowledge of Visual Builder and/or Divi and ability to work with Bootstrap.

Experience with applying WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards and SEO best practices.

Knowledge of Mailchimp, Google Analytics, IAB standards, DoubleClick Studio, Craft CMS, and the command line (an asset).

A strong grasp of design principles, versatility, and the ability to see the big picture without losing sight of the details.

Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and manage priorities.

In-depth knowledge of technology trends and design practices.
