Espresso communication is seeking a Linguistic Services Project Coordinator to join its 15-person team of language enthusiasts. The selected candidate will play a key role in managing projects, building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, and fostering a collaborative work environment. This is a maternity leave contract position with the possibility of being assigned to another team after its completion.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Manage translation projects (review translation requests, assign projects to translators, and ensure quality control)

  • Communicate with clients and follow up on projects

  • Manage internal teams and external collaborators

  • Keep track of deadlines and produce quotes and invoices

 Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a project management role

  • Fluency (verbal and written) in French and English

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and aptitude for customer service

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize

  • Team spirit, sense of initiative, and leadership skills

  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a positive attitude

  • Good understanding of the translation process (an asset)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Proficiency with memoQ, Memsource, or other translation tools (an asset)
